()- OpenAI plans to purchase Jony Ive’s company, io Products, and appoint the ex-Apple design lead as their creative director. This move aims to develop products specifically designed for the emerging generative AI landscape, according to an announcement from the creators of ChatGPT on Wednesday.

According to a person close to the situation, the agreement was valued at $6.5 billion.
